As a translator, I specialize in texts from English into German. My native language is German; I have a master's degree in German linguistics and a doctorate in German literature from the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. I am fluent in English, studied Latin for nine years, and have basic knowledge of French, and Italian.

I have translated shorter texts and entire books, mainly in the fields of politics, history, environment, art, and literature. My translations have appeared in Die Süddeutsche Zeitung, DIE ZEIT, and brand eins, and I have worked for galleries and museums, e.g. Lenbachhaus München and Galerie EIGEN + ART.
